Chairman
Paul (BSc, LLB, RICS, CIOB) joined as Chairman in June 2012 bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from his role as Chairman at Explore Living and previously as Managing Director at Laing Homes and Director at Wimpey Homes.
His remit is to direct the strategy for the future of the business ensuring that we meet and beat our budget whilst also supporting and mentoring the Managing Director. His advice and experience of introducing new systems for the control and management of the business has been invaluable along with his commitment to promote the name of Pantera within the industry.
Paul is a also a member of the editorial panel for a Housebuilding magazine, and a Co-founder and Chairman of a Charity Events team, which is testament to his dedication and commitment to raising money for his chosen charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care, both professionally and personally each year.
Managing Director
Pete started his working life in construction as a trainee carpenter and co-founded Pantera Carpentry in 1998. He has over 20 years construction experience and has held other positions in Banking, Sales and Media. Pete attended London Guildhall University and has a 1st class degree. He has also completed the Advance Management Programme at Ashridge Business School.
As the Senior Executive within the business he is responsible for new business strategy and growth, as well as leading the Management Team.
Construction Director / Health & Safety Director
Rob co-founded Pantera Carpentry in 1998. He started carpentry at the age of 16 and is City and Guilds qualified. He has an in depth knowledge of Carpentry, Joinery and Construction and previously worked for a variety of companies on site, in workshops, specialist fit out and general construction.
Rob has a NEBOSH Construction Certificate qualification and is a Tech member of IOSH as Pantera's Director for Health & Safety. Rob is continuing his health and safety training studying for his NVQ Level 5. He already holds SMSTS and CPCS qualifications for all of Pantera's lifting operations. He is also responsible for overseeing site operation, Project Managers and Supervisors.
In 2015 and 2016 Rob was instrumental in Pantera's achievement of the Considerate Constructors Silver and Gold Awards.
Commercial Director
Following completion of his apprenticeship, Mat started working with Pantera as a carpenter, and then embarked on a Quantity Surveying degree at Greenwich University on day release whilst joining the Commercial team in the office. Mat successfully completed his degree, achieving a first class with honors. He now heads up the expanding commercial team.
Mat has excellent people skills and has close relationships with the commercial teams of our clients to ensure that we provide the service they need at the right price. Mat also has SMSTS training and a wealth of construction knowledge, giving our clients considered health and safety feasibility advice during the tender process. Mat has been integral to the expansion of the business and has implemented in-house systems for tendering, procurement and cost control.
Operations Director
Liam has worked with Pantera since 2005 and is responsible for all business operations. Liam has the ability to build high performing teams and excellent working relationships on the toughest supply and fit sites. Liam has recently overseen the completion of our largest project at One Tower Bridge. His commitment to health and safety is outstanding and he always makes sure that his teams are at the top of the performance leagues.
Many of the systems and procedures Pantera use for supply and fit contracts have been developed by Liam. More recently he has undertaken a similar role to the Construction Director, covering multiple contracts, taking an active role in the tender process and supporting Project Managers and Supervisors ensuring the projects are being delivered to the correct standard. Liam is currently undertaking the senior management course at Ashridge Business School.

Financial Consultant
Martin (BA (Econ), FCA) has been involved with Pantera since early 2013. He is a Chartered Accountant qualifying with Coopers and Lybrand in Manchester. He has over 30 years experience in the construction, housing and engineering industries.
He previously held roles as Financial Director of Ideal Homes, Laing Homes, John Laing Partnership and CFO of Laing Investments. His role is to support and advise the Chairman, Managing Director and Financial Controller.
Finance Manager
Toni joins Pantera from MCG where she was a finance manager. She is a qualified accountant with AAT, and we are delighted to have her experience at Pantera. Toni is responsible for the management and development of the Finance team.
Accounts Assistant
Georgina joined the team in an administration support role for the Accounts Department and comes with 20 years admin experience and a finance background.
Commercial Consultant
Peter (BSc (Hons), MRICS) has been Commercial Advisor since May 2015 and brings with him over 30 years of experience in the construction and housing sectors with roles which include Commercial Director of Laing Homes, Managing Director of John Laing Partnership and Intro Homes and most recently Regional Director (London) for Lovell Partnerships Ltd.
Passionate about housing and the supply of new homes, Peter is also a Non Executive Director of the Salvation Army Housing Association.
Managing Surveyor
Kevin joined Pantera in 2017 having spent over 10 years working for international main contractors such as Bouygues UK and VINCI Construction. Kevin has a varied project experience, previously undertaking projects in the housing, healthcare and the rail sectors. Following completion of a BSc in Quantity Surveying studied on day release, Kevin then went on to successfully achieve an MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at King’s College London. Pragmatic and reasonable in his approach Kevin is able to build valuable relationships and is also a chartered member of the Institute of Building.
Quantity Surveyor
Charlie finished his Carpentry Apprenticeship in 2013 and changed roles within the company to study as a Quantity Surveyor.
After completing his HNC in the Built Environment, Charlie studied part-time at Greenwich University and in 2018, successfully obtained his degree in Quantity Surveying.
Charlie is proof of Pantera’s commitment to training and apprenticeships.
Assistant Surveyor
Coming from a recruitment background in the Construction Industry, Phil joined Pantera in 2015. He quickly adapted to estimating and surveying, with a responsibility for tendering new work, whilst learning surveying and also looking after several live projects. He has a wealth of knowledge of the life cycle of construction and the different roles to undertake projects. Phil has just successfully completed his 2nd year of HNC in Built Environment which we are supporting him to gain.
Senior Estimator
John joined Pantera Carpentry in early 2017 as the Senior Estimator, and comes with over 20 years of specialist carpentry and joinery experience.
John has worked on all commercial sides of the industry where he began as a trainee surveyor for a PQS practice in central London, then joined a national main contractor as a site Quantity Surveyor before moving into specialist carpentry & joinery sub-contracting where his role has developed from Quantity Surveyor to Estimator.
During this time John has built up a wide range of experience in commercial projects, residential developments, government & ministry of defence projects and has worked on public buildings such as the Natural History Museum, Darwin Centre, Royal Opera House and shopping centres in Plymouth, Exeter and Bristol.
Junior Estimator
Megan has been in the construction industry since leaving sixth form. Spending the last two years in the façade/cladding sector of the industry as a Junior Estimator.
Commercial Assistant
Kat joined Pantera in May 2018 as a Commercial Assistant. Kat has excellent admin and organisation skills having previously worked as an Executive Assistant for a property developer for over 10 years.
SHEQ and Compliance Manager
Jonathan joined Pantera in 2018 bringing with him with many years compliance experience in the Transport, Warehousing and Crane Hire industries where he has held senior roles. Jonathan’s specialities are Health, Safety and welfare and ISO compliance across Safety, Quality and the Environment.
PA to MD & Chairman
Project Director
Joining Pantera in 2016 Jack previously worked for a world leading Piling Subcontractor and was responsible for £1m-£90m+ subcontracts. He has extensive major projects experience in the UK and USA and is now leading the team at Wood Wharf A3. Jack has a First Class degree and is a Chartered Surveyor accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Contracts Manager
Kris started working with Pantera as a Carpenter in 2000 and is now responsible for managing many of the central London sites. He has an excellent knowledge of carpentry and logistics required for high rise development and on these sites has been involved in setting up many of the company's safety, quality and performance procedures for these types of developments.
Kris has excellent people skills and builds excellent relationships with our clients. He has good programming skills and is used to dealing with quick builds.
During the time Kris has worked with Pantera he has been responsible for over 3000 units all of which have been completed safely and to the correct quality standards.

Senior Project Manager
Remi has worked with Pantera since 2003 as a Carpenter. He is now one of our finest Project Managers working on supply and fit packages over £8 million. Remi has an eye for detail and is dedicated to delivering projects on time, no matter how many obstacles are placed in his way. He recently completed our largest site to date for Berkeley Homes at One Tower Bridge.
On a recent site for Berkeley Homes he topped the monthly safety league table 9 times and was always in the top 3. He also achieved the highest score recorded of 99%, which is a record for a Berkeley Homes development. We received written praise from the Project Director for the commitment of his/our team, in what he called faultless performance.
